The National Bureau has intensified its cooperation efforts, concentrated on effective communication with international partners and informing the international community about its achievements on the anti-corruption front.

In the second part of 2022, two NABU projects received international recognition. «The Anti-Corruption School» became the best anti-corruption initiative of the year according to EPAC (European Partners Against Corruption) - EACN (European Contact Network Against Corruption). Another project, the Anti-Corruption Augmented Reality, won the Integrity Hackathon organized by the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Lithuania.

Participation in international events once again proved the commitment of Ukraine as a future member of the EU to the chosen anti-corruption path. This idea became cross-cutting in the speeches of Acting Director of the National Bureau Gizo Uglava during the International Anti-Corruption Conference IACC 2022 in Washington, the US. This is the world's largest public anti-corruption event, which paid special attention to the situation in Ukraine this year.

International partners continue to support the efforts of the National Bureau. On the eve of the International Anti-Corruption Day, with the support of UNDP in Ukraine and the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative, NABU, together with other anti-corruption institutions, organized the All-Ukrainian Anti-Corruption Moot Court. It became one of the most significant events for Ukrainian law students. 107 teams from 52 universities from across Ukraine registered to participate in the project. Ten of the 82 teams that successfully solved the selection task competed offline in simulated situations close to those in which detectives work.

In addition to corruption prevention cooperation, the National Bureau strengthened investigative interaction. NABU joined the project to combat virtual assets money laundering, introduced by the OSCE and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). In a while, NABU detectives and analysts improved their skills in tracking cryptocurrency transactions and searching for illegal assets during a week-long training at the CEELI Institute in the Czech Republic. In general, the Bureau employees learned new skills during more than 10 offline seminars and trainings by the competent authorities from six countries across the world.
